Fort St. Clair’s Whispering Christmas drive-thru lighting display will be open the day after Thanksgiving from approximately 6-9 p.m. according to organizers, for a preview during Eaton’s annual White Christmas celebration, Friday, Nov. 25. White Christmas welcomes Santa to town with a parade at 6 p.m., culminating in music and festivities on the Preble County Courthouse Plaza. The event includes a ceremony and invocation, and performances by the Eaton High School Band, Hollingsworth-East Elementary School students, and the Eaton Area Community Choir. The evening closes with the singing of “White Christmas” and the lighting of the Christmas tree. Whispering Christmas at Fort St. Clair runs Dec. 1-31, from 6-10 p.m. Santa Claus will be in his cabin to visit every Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday, from 6-10 p.m. Refreshments are served in Santa’s Cabin.
