EATON —The Preble County Senior Center encourages everyone to check out the next newsletter’s activity calendars. They have several outdoor activities available they think seniors will enjoy.

During the month of June they are featuring walking on the Senior Center grounds between -10 a.m. This is a cool time of the day, a lovely time to walk around the grounds for exercise. Bring a group of friends and join in.

They are also offering croquet on various dates throughout the next few months. This is a game that seniors might want to play with friends. Manyl grew up playing croquet at family gatherings and special events and probably remember it well. If there is a special have a special date on which seniors want to play croquet while at the Senior Center, just ask and they will set it up.

Horseshoes is also on the calendar for the month of August. This is a sport that the center used to offer and play on a regular basis at the Senior Center. They will get the horseshoe pits ready and they invite seniors to join in for some exciting games. Bring own horseshoes or use the center’s.

The Preble County Senior Center is located at 800 East St. Clair Street, Eaton. They are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.
