NEW PARIS — National Trail MVCTC FFF recently received a Three-Star National Chapter Award, the highest award bestowed to an FFA chapter. LEWISBURG — On Thursday, Sept. 29, 23 TCN-MVCTC FFA members traveled to the Preble County Fairgrounds, where they were involved in the Preble County Ag/ Stem Day.

The day consisted of all the Preble County schools’ third graders going to the fairgrounds and being taught ag lessons by high school FFA members. The FFA chapter members taught lessons about sheep/goats and feed to over 470 third graders. It was a great day filled with lots of fun. Thank you to all involved.

Also, congratulations to our TCN-MVCTC State FFA Rural Soil Judging Team. The team consisted of Kelli Cooke, Chryseis Kazee and Colton Vanwinkle. On Saturday, Oct. 9, they competed in the state contest and placed 22nd out of the top 50 teams in Ohio. It was a very tight and tough competition. They all worked hard and represented the chapter well. We are very proud of them.
