The following information has been provided by Northmont area police departments. The information listed in this column is considered public record and is available to anyone seeking information concerning what is provided below.

For purposes of this column, the term “arrested” or “charged” does not necessarily mean the person was taken into physical custody. It could also indicate that a summons was issued to the subject in lieu of physical custody.

All the people listed as “arrested” or “charged” are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Tuesday, Feb. 21, Union Report 23-000000067: Chad M. Bornhorst, 44, of Union, was charged with driving while under the influence and speeding. He registered at 0.198 on a breath intoxilyzer test. He was issued a court summons and released to a sober driver.

Union Report 23-000000068: Wilby A. Nelson, 55, of Chillicothe, was arrested on a felony warrant out of the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office for violation of a court order. He was transported to the county jail.

Monday, Feb. 27, Union Report 23-000000072: Roscoe E. Waymire, 26, of Union, was arrested on a felony warrant on indictment of pandering material involving a minor and illegal use of a minor in nude oriented material. He was transported to the county jail.

Friday, March 3, Union Report 23-000000073: The theft of a large bottle of hand sanitizer from a kitchen countertop was reported in the 200 block of Lutz Dr.

Monday, March 6, Union Report 23-000000074: Fraud was reported in the 200 block of Sheets St. An elderly male was tricked into sending more than $15,000 to four unknown subjects out of state under the assumption that he would receive a Family Support Grant.

Union Report 23-000000075: A past occurred assault was reported in the 500 block of W. Martindale Rd.

Thursday, March 9, Union Report 23-000000081: Justin R. Stanaford, 37, of Eaton, was arrested on a felony warrant out of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office for aggravated possession of drugs. He was transported to the county jail.

Monday, March 13, Union Report 23-000000084: Rodney T. Willis, 62, of Miamisburg, was arrested on a warrant out of Preble County. He was turned over to the custody of an Eaton Municipal Court bailiff.

Wednesday, April 19, Englewood Report 23-0000645: April S. Loftis, 46, of Dayton 45414, was arrested on a Beavercreek warrant for failure to appear. She was transported to the county jail.

Thursday, April 20, Englewood Report 23-0000651: Joseph T. Joo, 27, of Englewood, was charged with possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia, issued a court summons and released.

Englewood Report 23-0000652: A 15-year-old male was charged with being unruly on Orchard Avenue and transported to the juvenile detention center.

Friday, April 21, Englewood Report 23-0000655: A 17-year-old male was charged with menacing at the Miami Valley Career Technology Center. Charges were forwarded to juvenile court.

Englewood Report 23-0000657: Shyann N. Gartin, 20, of New Lebanon, was charged with theft at Walmart, issued a court summons and released.

Saturday, April 22, Clayton Report 23-0000437: An officer responded to Caterpillar for a threat investigation. A security officer stated an unknown male with a deep voice called two times stating there was a bomb in the building and to get everyone out. The facility was evacuated. Multiple K9 units from surrounding police agencies responded and systematically searched the building. Nothing suspicious was found.

Clayton Report 23-0000443: Douglas S. Buell, 44, of Trotwood, was charged with possession of drugs – schedule I or II substance, speeding, two counts of driving under suspension, and transported to the county jail.

Clayton Report 23-0000444: Two male subjects were issued criminal trespass warnings in the 6300 block of Dog Leg Rd. and released.

Clayton Report 23-0000445: Criminal damaging to a vehicle was reported in the 6800 block of Garber Rd.

Englewood Report 23-0000660: Following a two vehicle crash in the area of W. Wenger Road and Woodlawn Avenue, Brent W. Morgan, 46, of Centerville, was charged with driving while under the influence, assured clear distance ahead, and driving while under the influence and refusal of a chemical test with a prior DUI conviction within 20 years. He was transported to the county jail.

Englewood Report 23-0000664: Dawayne L. Moorehead, 52, of Dayton 45402, was charged with theft at Walmart and possession of drug paraphernalia, issued a court summons and released.

Sunday, April 23, Clayton Report 23-0000449: A 13-year-old female was charged with being unruly at Stepping Stones of Ohio Group Home in the 6000 block of Rangeview Dr. She was transported to the juvenile justice center.

Monday, April 24, Clayton Report 23-0000450: Police responded to a domestic dispute on Ranch Hill Drive. No charges were filed.

Clayton Report 23-0000452: A 2008 Chevy Silverado was stolen from the 6600 block of Morrow Dr. An officer responding to the scene spotted the truck and a sedan headed south on Garber Road. When the officer attempted to make a traffic stop, both vehicles fled at a high rate of speed.

Clayton Report 23-0000454: Officers responded to a domestic dispute in the 300 block of Shadywood Dr. A refusal to prosecute form was signed by the complainant.

Tuesday, April 25, Englewood Report 23-0000684: A runaway / missing 16-year-old male was reported on Brentwood Drive.

Englewood Report 23-0000685: Joshua E. Donahue, 35, of Lewisburg, was arrested on a felony warrant through New York State Police for dangerous drugs. He was transported to the county jail.

Wednesday, April 26, Clayton Report 23-0000468: A resident that owns a local business reported receiving a notice in the mail that a Small Business Administration loan was taken out in his name for $149,200. He stated he never applied for the loan and never received any money. He contacted SBA after they sent him a letter stating that if he did not pay they would liquidate the loan. He contacted the Federal Trade Commission and filed a report. The FTC told him to file a police report and send them a copy.
