EATON — The Preble County Historical Society is hosting Discover Preble, a “new spin” on a scavenger hunt across the county, on Saturday, May 6, in Preble County.

“You could win over $1,000 in cash. The event kicks off at 9 a.m. at The Preble County Historical Society and Nature Reserve. Each game board costs $10, and there is no limit on how many game boards you play,” said PCHS Director Lisa White.

“Each completed board goes into a drawing for the cash prize. This event is the best way to explore Preble County. Some small businesses, organizations, parks, covered bridges and more. This year, 25 local stops will take part with bonus prizes at some of the stops. You will want to play early,” White added.

There will be limited edition t-shirts and car decal stickers available as well. A special thank you to the sponsors of the event, the Preble County Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Preble County Business Development and the Eaton Rotary Club. The game was developed by PCHS with the design by Jake White, a volunteer and current sophomore at Miami University, according to Lisa White.

Registration begins at 9 a.m. at the PCHS, 7693 Swartsel Road, Eaton. White directs those with questions to email [email protected].
