NEW PARIS — The National Trail MVCTC FFA Meats team placed first at the Ohio FFA Contest.

The team was led by Ethan Kosier who placed second at the contest missing first place by one point. Daniel Mann placed 4th, Blake Osswald 5th, Nicholas Berry 7th, Grant Deaton 8th and Bradan Lee 33rd.

The team had to identify retail meat cuts, place carcass classes and complete a knowledge test. The team will represent Ohio FFA at the National FFA Contest in October at the Ohio National FFA Convention.

The team is coached by John Kimball. The National Trail MVCTC FFA chapter is advised by Eric and Carmen Kennel.
