Lady Bolts 2nd

at Schwab Invite

BEAVERCREEK – The Schwab Invitational was held Friday at Beavercreek Golf Club.

The tournament is a nine hole event with boys and girls teams competing together. The Northmont varsity girls team shot a season low 204 which tied the team’s lowest score from the 2022 season.

“Beavercreek can be a tough course to navigate with plenty of water hazards and woods. But the girls took on the challenge and played well,” said Northmont girls coach John Lemmon.

The biggest story of the day was senior Shelby Clagg shooting a career low 49.

“Shelby has only been playing golf for a little over a year which makes this score even more impressive,” Lemmon said. “Her long drives and much improved short game have helped her game peak early in the season.”
