EATON — The City of Eaton Public Works Division will be flushing fire hydrants beginning Monday, April 29, and continuing through Friday, May 3.

BROOKVILLE — The map with this story is of the original plat survey of Brookville. The land was part of Jacob Flory’s farm and was surveyed by Jacob Frees who had also surveyed several of the surrounding communities.

PREBLE COUNTY — Activities in preparation for the Monday, April 8, total solar eclipse kicked off this weekend, with Lewisburg hosting its various “Diamond Days” events all weekend long and on Monday.

DAYTON — At press time, the Dayton Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol continued its investigation into two-separate crashes — a two-vehicle hit-skip crash and a two-vehicle quadruple fatal crash which followed the hit-skip crash on Monday, April 1.
