NEW PARIS — National Trail’s boys basketball team rallied from a 12-point fourth quarter deficit to get within two, but fell to Arcanum 56-54 on Friday, Jan. 12

BROOKVILLE — The Brookville girls basketball team stunned and defeated Waynesville last week even though the Spartans ended up with more points on the scoreboard at the end of the game.

BROOKVILLE — The Brookville Blue Devils used a series of runs to defeat the Twin Valley South Panthers 80-52 Saturday night at the Devils Den in Brookville. The win lifted Brookville to a record of 8-5 on the season while South dropped to 3-8.

CLAYTON — Fairmont bombed in four three-point field goals during the first quarter and one in the second Friday night to take a 32-20 halftime lead over Northmont.

GERMANTOWN — Northmont had four players score in double figures Monday in a 61-31 non-conference victory at Valley View.

SPRINGFIELD — Trailing by a basket at Springfield Jan. 5, Northmont outscored the Wildcats 34-21 in the second half to post a 58-47 conference victory, its third straight.
