EATON — The City of Eaton’s Whispering Christmas Committee is excited to announce its annual holiday light display, Whispering Christmas at Fort St. Clair, is one of several featured on this year’s Ohio Holiday Lights Trail.

NEW PARIS — For nearly seven years, FFA students at National Trail High School have been helping provide hundreds of families in need with the necessities for a meal they can cook over the holiday season. This year students packed these “Bags of Hope” on Tuesday, Nov. 14.

EATON — A California man arrested earlier this month after a traffic stop on Interstate 70 led to the discovery of approximately $750,000 in drugs was indicted by a Preble County grand jury during its Tuesday, Nov. 7, session.
Shawnee 5th graders ‘FUSE’ together
CAMDEN — Fifth graders at Preble Shawnee are participating in a new program which aims to help them relate to each other and “fuse” with their peers in a positive way.
EHS ranked in top 25 percent in nation
EATON — In late August, U.S. News & World Report published numerical ranks for public high schools across the nation, focusing on school specific data like graduation rates and assessment results, participation in and performance on college-level coursework. School officials discussed Eaton High School’s ranking at a recent meeting.
