WA Firehouse Thursday night BINGO is cancelled until further notice due to the recent health mandates.

Kiwanis Easter Egg Hunt

The Kiwanis Easter Egg Hunt has been changed to Saturday, April 11, at 1 p.m. at a location to be announced. There will be prizes for each age category. Bring your own basket or bag to collect the hidden eggs in. Stay tuned for updated information or contact John Devilbiss at 937-367-5483.

Hello Spring Coffee & Canvas

Artist Heidi from She Shed Arts will be leading a Hello Spring Coffee & Canvas at Kierston’s Coffeestop on Tuesday, March 31 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at 12 S. Main Street. This is a large 16×20 painting. You will be provided with your canvas, paint and all tools needed to take home a finished painting. Included in the price of your ticket is a drink of choice from Kierston’s Coffeestop. This is a pre-paid, non-refundable event. Buy your ticket now to reserve your seat.

Turkey Shoot, TVRGC

Twin Valley Rod and Gun Club is sponsoring a Turkey Shoot at 1 p.m. each Sunday March 15 through April 26, with the exception of Easter Sunday, April 12. Foodbank

The Foodbank served 53 households in February. This includes 18 seniors, 93 adults, and 71 children. Current needs of the Foodbank are spaghetti, pork and beans, pancake mix, syrup, toothpaste, shampoo, and grape jelly. Our staff appreciates everyone’s support of the Foodbank and our community. The Foodbank is open from 1 0a.m. to noon on Mondays and Wednesdays and is located at St. John Church, 20 E. South Street. Contact the Foodbank at 937-839-1615 for additional information.

COB Parenting Conference

On Saturday, April 25, W. Alexandria Church of the Brethren will be hosting its first-ever parenting conference entitled: Cooperation, Consequences and Keeping Your Sanity. The event will take place from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at 22 E. Oak St. The event will include a live presenter from the National Center for Biblical Parenting, breakfast items, free lunch, a cooperating children’s program, as well as take-home resources. Community Christian Church

The women at CCC are having a Movie Night March 28 at 4 p.m. The original “Little Women” will be shown.

A group will be traveling to Cincinnati to attend a Gary Smalley seminar, “The 5 Love Languages” on March 21.

Community Christian Church is starting its Small Group Ministries for 2020. The public is invited to attend. If interested, call the church office at 937-849-4988. Sunday Worship begins at 10 a.m. held at 11 Dorsey Akers Road.

Church of the Brethren

The next Community Meal is Wednesday, April 1, at 22 East Oak St. from 5-6:30 p.m.

Salem Lutheran Church

Holy Week services are subject to change due to recent mandates: Maundy Thursday April 9 with Communion at 7 p.m., Good Friday April 10 at 7 p.m., and Easter Sunrise Service April 12 at 7:30a.m., Breakfast from 8-9 a.m., Children’s Easter Egg Hunt at 9 a.m., Sunday School at 9a.m. and Easter Worship at 10:30a.m.

Blood Pressure Screenings are held after Worship every fourth Sunday.

Our Bibles and Blankets ministry is ongoing. We are collecting new or gently used Bibles.

Donate your unwanted or recently expired coupons to Coups for Troops to assist military overseas where commissaries accept manufacturer coupons up to two months expired. There is a basket in the church library.
