Hello Spring Coffee & Canvas
Artist Heidi from She Shed Arts will be leading a Hello Spring Coffee & Canvas at Kierston’s Coffeestop on Tuesday, March 31 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at 12 S. Main Street. This is a large 16×20 painting. You will be provided with your canvas, paint and all tools needed to take home a finished painting. Included in the price of your ticket is a drink of choice from Kierston’s Coffeestop. Turkey Shoot, TVRGC
Twin Valley Rod and Gun Club is sponsoring a Turkey Shoot at 1 p.m. each Sunday March 15 through April 26, with the exception of Easter Sunday, April 12. Foodbank
The Foodbank served 53 households in February. This includes 18 seniors, 93 adults, and 71 children. Current needs of the Foodbank are spaghetti, pork and beans, pancake mix, syrup, toothpaste, shampoo, and grape jelly. Our staff appreciates everyone’s support of the Foodbank and our community. The Foodbank is open from 1 0a.m. to noon on Mondays and Wednesdays and is located at St. John Church, 20 E. South Street. Contact the Foodbank at 937-839-1615 for additional information.
COB Parenting Conference
On Saturday, April 25, W. Alexandria Church of the Brethren will be hosting its first-ever parenting conference entitled: Cooperation, Consequences and Keeping Your Sanity. The event will take place from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at 22 E. Oak St. The event will include a live presenter from the National Center for Biblical Parenting, breakfast items, free lunch, a cooperating children’s program, as well as take-home resources. Community Christian Church
The women at CCC are having a Movie Night March 28 at 4 p.m. The original “Little Women” will be shown.
A group will be traveling to Cincinnati to attend a Gary Smalley seminar, “The 5 Love Languages” on March 21.
