Sunday, June 25, will be Heritage Sunday at Eaton United Church of Christ. This year the congregation will be recognizing the church’s long standing music ministry. Although they have no date for when the first choir was organized — historical material speaks of the church always having an active choir. The group will be honoring two members of the current choir who have each been a part of the music ministry for over 50 years: Carol Miley and Gene Newman. The church is also inviting any who have been a part of the music ministry to join in for worship, and, if able, to come early and rehearse the morning anthem, “You Raise Me Up,” with the choir and sing it with them during worship at 10:30 a.m.

VCC garage sale

Visitation Catholic Church, 407 E. Main St., Eaton, is having a garage sale on Thursday and Friday, June 15-16, from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., both days. There will be plenty to choose from and a bake sale of homemade items, too. Everything is priced to sell, so come early. The church hall will be packed; entrance off the parking lot. Rummage sale

The annual rummage sale at Eaton United Methodist Church, 120 N. Maple St., will be held Thursday, June 8, from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. and bag sale Friday, June 9, from 8-noon.

Vacation Bible school

All children are invited to join the fun at Vacation Bible School hosted by Campbellstown United Church of Christ, June 12-16 from 9-11:30 a.m. daily. The theme this year is “Day by Day with Jesus.” Children ages 3 to sixth grade are welcome. Register your child at the church on the first morning of VBS. The church is located at 2890 W. Crabbs in concert

Jason Crabb, Adam Crabb, Terah Crabb Penhollow, Aaron and Amanda Crabb will perform in concert at Covenant of Peace International Ministries located at 4745 U.S. 127 North, Eaton, on Friday, June 23. Visitation CC Dinner

Visitation Catholic Church, BVM, 407 E. Main Street, Eaton, will have its monthly Community Dinner on Thursdays, June 29, July 27, Aug. 31, Sept. 28, Oct. 26, Nov. 30 and Dec. 28. There is no charge for the meal which is served from 4-5:30 p.m. in the church hall. Those who attend should use the entrance off the parking lot. Everyone is welcome.
