EATON — The Presbytery of The Miami Valley will hold a service this Sunday, to install the Reverend Doctor Ted Dennis as the pastor of Eaton First Presbyterian Church.

The Service of Installation is scheduled for Sunday, May 6, at 4 p.m. This service will take place at the First Presbyterian Church, 123 West Decatur Street, Eaton.

Cheryl Collins currently serves as the Moderator of The Presbytery of The Miami Valley and is an Elder at the Bath Presbyterian Church in Dayton. In an email to the Churches of The Presbytery of The Miami Valley, Collins wrote, “Please join us for this special occasion in our presbytery’s life to celebrate and affirm God’s call to Rev. Dennis to serve as pastor at the Eaton Church. The opportunity to welcome new pastors among us in shared ministry is a sacred time for our presbytery. It is one way to celebrate God’s work through the faithful mission and ministry of our churches. We hope you can be part of this important covenant event.”

Michael Isaacs, Pastor of the First Presbyterian Church, Middletown will deliver the message. Elders and pastors representing Eaton First Presbyterian Church and other congregations of The Presbytery of The Miami Valley will participate in the service. An offering will be received. The offering will be used by the Committee on Preparation for Ministry of the Presbytery of The Miami Valley, to assist women and men in their preparation for ministry. A light reception will follow the service. All are welcome.
