Country Gospel Concert

The Lewisburg First United Church of Christ will host Jerry Jones for a night of country gospel on Wednesday, Aug. 12, at 7 p.m. A love offering will be taken up during the concert and refreshments will follow. The church is located at 400 N. Main St. in Lewisburg.

Ice Cream Social

Salem Lutheran Church, located at 70 E. Dayton St. in West Alexandria, will have an ice cream social on Saturday, Aug. 22 from 4- 7 p.m. Ice cream flavors provided will be chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, lemon, peach, peanut butter, raspberry and blue moon. There will also be turkey, BBQ, hot dogs, chili dogs, chicken and noodles, potato salad, baked beans, cake, pie and coffee. Drive-through pick up will be available.

Free Community Dinner

The Gratis Church of the Brethren will be hosting a free community dinner on Tuesday, Aug. 18, from 6-7:30 p.m. The church is located at the corner of Ohio 503 and Mack Street in Gratis.

The menu is “Meatloaf and all the fixings.”

Breakfast

Camden United Methodist Church’s “All You Can Eat Breakfast,” will be held the fourth Saturday of every month, 7-11 a.m. Cost is $6.

Go Ministries

Go Ministries International has moved from 5125 U.S. 40, New Paris to West Orchard Street, in West Manchester. This is just eight miles from its former location. Go Ministries is a full gospel/non-denominational church with something for the entire family. Sunday worship and children’s church is at 10:30 a.m. Bible study and Soldiers for Christ Youth services are Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. Live bluegrass the first Friday of every month and southern gospel national and local groups, 7-9 p.m. Admission is free and a love offering will be received.
