Congratulations: Preble Shawnee has been well represented in sports — Boys Varsity Basketball Buckeye League Co-Champs, Lady Varsity Arrows made it to sectionals in tournament play, Arrow Wrestlers missed the league title by a controversial one point and won the league championship! Great job players and coaches.

Bearcat Baseball Clinic: Preble Shawnee Youth Baseball will host the annual Ty Neal Bearcat Baseball Clinic on March 6, at Preble Shawnee High School. Seventh-twelfth grades is from 3-5 p.m. and second-sixth grades is 6-8 p.m. Cost is $30 for one child, $50 for two and $10 each additional. Day of event it’s $5 more. Urgent need: Local man in need of a kidney transplant — Joesph DeVaughn formerly of Somerville and a Talawanda graduate, is need of a kidney transplant. DeVaughn, who has the same kidney disease that took his mother, is seeking a donor to fulfill his need to have a functional kidney.
