EATON — On Friday, April 28, you can see “Captain America” at 1:30 p.m. On Monday, May 1, we are showing “Seven Brides for Seven Brothers” at 1:30 p.m., both in Decade’s Diner at the senior center.

Therapist On Call: The first Wednesday of each month join us for our 10 a.m. Therapist on Call with Vancrest. Ask questions, be informed, and educated about physical ailments.

UNO: A new activity for May and June. UNO on Thursday at 11 a.m. at the senior activity center.

Lunch with Jake: Monday, May 8 and 22 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Join Jake for lunch, share stories and ask questions on veteran affairs, and senior center activities.

The Northern Connection “Lunch & Learn”: Meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month at 11:30 a.m. at the St. Paul United Methodist Church, located at 301 E. Main Street in New Paris. May 10th our entertainment will be Jim Knight. The Northern Connection is a partnership between the Preble County Council on Aging and the St. Paul United Methodist Church. Lunch is served at no charge (donations are welcome) followed by either a speaker on a topic of interest, or entertainment. Information is also available on services provided by the Preble County Council on Aging. Everyone is welcome to attend. Quilt Raffle: There is still time to stop in and purchase your tickets for our Quilt Raffle. We have a beautiful quilt donated to us by the Quilting Chicks. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5, buy your tickets at the activities center before May 1.

Senior Day: Our annual Senior Day and Annual Meeting is on Tuesday, May 9, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.. Our guest speaker is Dr. Applebaum, PhD, Director of the Ohio Long-Term Care Research Project at Miami University. Senior Day is free and includesa cook-out, vendors, raffles, prizes, games, the Silvertones, and our Annual Meeting. Thanks to our sponsors, Reid Health Alliance, Maple Gardens and Arbor Trace.

Senior Prom: “An Evening Under the Stars” join us at The Grange for our annual Senior Prom. Ticket prices include food, great entertainment by Thunder Bay, good company from 7-11 p.m. on Saturday, May 20. Thanks to our sponsors, Reid Health Alliance.
