SOUTHERN PREBLE COUNTY — Opening Day rescheduled: Preble Shawnee Youth Baseball has rescheduled opening day for this Sunday May 7, with the parade line up at 1 p.m. on South Main at the VFW, proceeding north on Main to Bloomfield to Lafayette and to the ballpark where ceremonies will be held and preliminary games will be played by all teams.

In memory: Our prayers go out to the family of longtime Gratis resident Keith Grimmie who passed recently.

Circus: Tickets are still available for the Kelly Miller Circus that’s coming to Camden on Wednesday May 17. There will be two shows at 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. Tickets at IGA and both Camden Banks. Come enjoy the fun and support The Camden Somers Fire Department .

Trivia: Will Hensley was longtime owner of the service station at Mack and East in Gratis; the Moss family ran R.C.Nein Funeral Home in Camden after the Neins.
