Stuffed Animal Sleepover

It’s that time of year again, when your stuffed animals get free rein of the library for one night.

On Monday, Aug. 7 at 6:30 p.m., children can come to the Eaton Library and hear a story, have a nighttime snack, complete a craft and let their stuffed animal spend the night in the library. The next day, the children can pick up their animal and a book of all their friend’s adventures. Children of all ages can come dressed in their pajamas! Make sure not to bring the animal your child sleeps with, as it will be at the library all night.

Children can use the library’s Lego collection. If you bring Legos from home, please bring them in a container labeled with your child’s name.

Later sessions will touch on advanced topics like game development, mobile app development, and creating a website. No prior programming experience is necessary. The classes are open to anyone 13 and older. It’s preferred that you bring your own laptop, but there will be some extra laptops available for use during each session.

Catch the class on Aug. 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30 starting at 6 p.m.
