EATON — The Bistro at Eagles Point and the Preble County Historical Society are collaborating for a fun-filled evening with dinner and then a historic tour of Mound Hill Cemetery.

Learn about the history of Eaton’s cemetery and hear the stories of the first settlers who found their final resting place at Mound Hill. The cemetery is full of history, intrigue, and tales of love and loss. There even might be a few ghost stories to tell.

The event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 21. Dinner will be at 6:30 p.m. at The Bistro at Eagles Point. The menu will include: “Rocky’s Horrific Meatloaf,” “Severed Green Bean Casserole” and “Bleeding Lava Cakes.”

After dinner, the group will meet at the parking lot beside Mound Hill Cemetery at 8 p.m. to begin the lantern walking tour. The tour will last about an hour and fifteen minutes. The cost of dinner and the tour is $30 per person. The cost for the tour alone is $15.

There is a limited number of seating for the dinner and the tour. Reservations are made upon receiving payment. For further information email [email protected] or call the PCHS at 937-787-4256.
