Lego Club
The Eaton Library will have a monthly Lego program when school-age children can build, complete challenges, or just have fun. It will meet the last Monday of each month from 4-5 p.m. The next Lego Club program is Monday, Oct. 30 at 4 p.m.
Children can use the library’s Lego collection. If you bring Legos from home, please bring them in a container labeled with your child’s name.
Baby Snow Owl children’s craft
Join us at the Eldorado Library to make a baby snow owl craft on Thursday, Nov. 2 at 4:30 p.m.
Tween-tivities: Agamographs (ages 8-12)
Agamographs are pieces of art that contain different pictures, depending on the angle at which they’re viewed. Make your own three-piece artwork at the library! Registration is required for this program. Call you library or sign-up in-person.

Lego Building Contests
Want to show off your master builder skills? There are two Lego Building Contests on Saturday, Nov. 4, and prizes will be awarded to the best builder in three age groups (grades K-1, 2-3, and 4-5).
The Lego Contest at the New Paris Library will begin at 11 a.m., and the Eaton Library’s contest will start at 1 p.m. Builders will have one hour to complete their creations. You must bring your own Legos, and all Legos must be separated before building.

Are you a Star Wars fan? Get ready for the release of The Last Jedi next month by making your own BB-8 ornament! This craft will be at five library branches in November:

Southern Ohio Supernatural
Meet some real ghost hunters and hear some of their most exciting stories at the Eaton Library on Saturday, Oct. 28 at 1 p.m.
Southern Ohio Supernatural is a family investigating the paranormal. After a lifetime of strange experiences, they started their own investigating team.
Intro to Genealogy Class
Do you want to learn about researching your family history? The Preble County Room has an ‘Intro to Genealogy’ class on Saturday, Nov. 4 from 1-3 p.m. Learn about some of the resources you can use, both in the library and at home, to start putting together your family tree. World War I on the Ohio Homefront
Were you aware that 2017 marks the 100th anniversary of U.S. involvement in World War I? As part of the centennial, the Preble County Room will host a guest speaker who will present ‘WWI on the Ohio Homefront’ on Saturday, Nov. 18 at 1 p.m.
