Thanksgiving Supper

The Eldorado United Methodist Church will hold its Annual Thanksgiving Supper Saturday, Nov. 17 at 4:30 p.m.

The menu will consist of turkey and dressing, mashed potatoes, ham log, chicken and noodles, green beans, corn, cranberry and apple salads, rolls, pies and cake and drinks.

The Bazaar table will be full of crafts and goodies.

Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Drop Off

Through Nov. 19, the First Southern Baptist Church in Camden is once again a collection site for OCC Shoeboxes partnering with Samaritan’s Purse. Hours will be Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., Tuesday and Thursday from 5-7 p.m., Sunday 2-5 p.m. and Nov. 19 from 10 a.m.-noon. Call 937-452-7291 with any questions.

Griefshare: Surviving the Holidays

Griefshare: Surviving the Holidays will be offered Nov. 17, at First Southern Baptist Church of Camden, from 9-11 a.m. The church is located at 35 N. Liberty St., Camden. When one is grieving a loved one’s death, the holiday season can be especially painful. This Surviving the Holidays seminar helps participants prepare for the holidays and even discover hope for the future. Contact Alan and Muriel Taylor at 452-3028.

EUCC Christmas Tea

Eaton United Church of Christ will host its second annual Ladies Christmas Tea on Saturday, Dec. 1, at 11 a.m. in the church fellowship hall. The event will feature over 20 ladies playing Christmas Carols on hammered dulcimers. Cost of the event, which includes chicken salad, ham salad, bagels, coffee cake, tea and coffee, is $3. Awana Bible Club

Awana Bible Club meets weekly at 6:30 p.m. at First Southern Baptist Church in Camden. Youth and adult Bible studies also take place. Pastor Greg Jackson welcomes all.

Visitation CC Community Dinners

Visitation Catholic Church, B.V.M., 401 East Main Street, Eaton, will hold its community dinners on the following days: Nov. 29, and Dec. 27. The meals are held usually on the last Thursday of the month in the church hall, to the rear of the church. The hall, which is handicap accessible, may be entered off the parking lot. There is no charge for the meal. Anyone is welcome. Questions, call 456-3380. Meals are served from 4-5:30 p.m. in the church hall.

CUMC breakfast

Camden United Methodist Church’s “All You Can Eat Breakfast,” will be held the fourth Saturday of every month, 7-11 a.m. Cost is $6.

Gospel Light Baptist Church

Gospel Light Baptist Church has announced the following service times: Sunday School 9:15 a.m., Morning Worship, 10:30 a.m., Evening Worship, 6 p.m. and Wednesday Kids AWANA Clubs and Worship, 7 p.m. Gospel Light Baptist Church is located at 1407 N.
