Preble County Ministerial Association

All Preble County clergy are invited to attend the Ministerial Association meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 13, at 9:30 a.m. at the Eaton First Church of the Nazarene at 201 E. Lexington Rd., located across from the Eaton water tower and softball park. Enter through the north door back by the picnic pavilion and playground. The meeting is in the second room on the left. Area clergy meet on the second Wednesday of each month for mutual support, sharing, prayer and fellowship. All are welcome to come join the conversation.

Grief Share in Camden

First Southern Baptist Church of Camden will offer Grief Share classes will be held on Tuesdays from 6-8 p.m. The church is located at 35 N. Liberty St., Camden. For more information call 937-452-3028 and ask for Alan or Muriel Taylor.

Southern Gospel concert in Camden

The nationally acclaimed southern gospel group, “The Old Paths Quartet” will be in concert, Feb. 24, at 6:30 p.m. at the First Southern Baptist Church of Camden. The group’s new tenor is soloist Steve Ladd and it has recently had a hit with “Broken People.” Pastor Greg Jackson invites all to come. A love offering will be received. www.camdencornerofhope.com.

Visitation Catholic Church community dinners

Visitation Catholic Church, B.V.M., 401 East Main Street, Eaton, has announced monthly community dinners for 2019 will be on the following days: Feb. 28, March 28, April 25, May 30 June 27, July 25, Aug. 29, Sept. 26, Oct. 31, Nov. 21, Dec. 19. The meals are held usually on the last Thursday of the month in the church hall, to the rear of the church. The hall, which is handicap accessible, may be entered off the parking lot. There is no charge for the meal. Anyone is welcome. Questions, call 456-3380.

Biscuits and Bluegrass

Somerville Community Church will have “Biscuits and Bluegrass Music,” Saturday, March 2, at 9 a.m. There will be an open bluegrass jam session. Musicians bring your instruments. All welcome, enjoy biscuits and gravy, bluegrass music with family and friends. Hosts will be Alan Dunkelberger & Robert “Weedle” Worley. Awana Bible Club

Awana Bible Club meets weekly at 6:30 p.m. at First Southern Baptist Church in Camden. Youth and adult Bible studies also take place. Pastor Greg Jackson welcomes all.

CUMC breakfast

Camden United Methodist Church’s “All You Can Eat Breakfast,” will be held the fourth Saturday of every month, 7-11 a.m. Cost is $6.
