ELDORADO – The Village of Eldorado and Efficiency Smart have a partnership to save money and reduce power usage for Eldorado Municipal Light, Sewer and Refuse electric customers through several energy efficiency initiatives. Efficiency Smart and the Village of Eldorado will host a customer appreciation day on Friday, Dec. 11, from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the village offices located at 160 N. Main St. in Eldorado. During the event, Efficiency Smart staff will distribute five free compact fluorescent light bulbs (CFLs) per customer, while supplies last, as well as kits with rebate forms, program information and energy efficiency tips.

Replacing incandescent light bulbs with CFLs is a simple way to save money on utility bills. CFLs use 75 percent less energy while lasting up to 10 times longer than incandescent bulbs. There are many energy-efficient products that can help consumers save money on their electric bills. Efficiency Smart offers several incentives to Eldorado Municipal Light, Sewer and Refuse electric customers promoting these savings.
