Eaton FFA competes in job interview contest

EATON — MVCTC FFA members competed in the District 5 Job Interview Career Development Event (CDE) at Preble Shawnee High School on Nov. 11.

In this contest, FFA members’ job seeking skills are put to the test by submitting a cover letter and resume, completing a written job application, participating in a 15 minute interview conducted by 2 employers, and writing a formal follow-up thank you letter.

Representing Eaton in Division I for 9th grade members was Alysa Sorrell. She placed in the top 15 in her division. Katelyn Niehaus represented the chapter in Division II for 10th grade members and placed first. She is moving on to represent all of District V in the State FFA Job Interview Contest on Dec. 5, at The Ohio State University.

Aubrey Stevenson competed in Dvision IV for senior students and tied for 3rd place.
