Boy Scout Troupe 107

Boy Scout Troupe 107, for ages 11-18, is back! Last Dec. 1, Boy Scout Troupe 107 began meeting in the West Alexandria Town Hall basement on Tuesday evenings from 6-7:30 p.m. and is looking to add new members! If interested, contact Brian King at 937-336-3468.

Cub Scout Quarter Auction

Pack 107 will hold it’s annual Quarter Event Friday, Feb. 19, 7 p.m. at the American Legion, 1477 St. Rt. 503 South. We have Mary Kay (Jenny Stachler King), Tastefully Simple (Wendy Clark), Origami Owl (Kim Marburger) , We B Stuffin (Terri Wysong), 31 (Jessica Cherry), Avon (Tosha Jackson) and more!

WACOCA Hymn Sing

WACOCA Annual Hymn Sing is Sunday, Feb. 21, 7 p.m. at St. John Church, 20 E. South Street. Join churches from the community as we come together in song and fellowship with light refreshments afterward.

WAFD/EMS

Every Thursday evening doors open at 5 p.m. and Bingo calling starts at 6 p.m. at 25 E. Dayton Street. Come early, get a good seat and start your luck with some pull-offs! All proceeds benefit the West Alexandria Firefighters Association and Department.

S&S P&P 4-H Club

Spic’n Span Pots’n Pans 4-H Club, established in 1970, will begin their forty-sixth year meeting on Monday, Feb. 22 at 4p.m. in the Salem Lutheran Fellowship Hall. We meet every Monday and welcome new members! Cloverbuds include activities for children ages 5-8, and 4-H members must be at least 8 years old or in the third grade to compete in the Junior Fair. fair Projects must be turned in by the end of March. Meetings consist of 4-H business and working on fair projects, snacks and games. We cover all domestic, animal and miscellaneous projects. We complete several community projects, as well. WABO

Final registration sign-up date for 2016 West Alexandria Baseball Organization, open to youth, ages 5-15, is on Sunday, Feb. 14 from 2-4 p.m. at Salem Lutheran Church. Please bring your child or know your child’s sizes for pants and shirt and bring your check or cash for fees. Entry fee is $65 per child and T-ball is $55 per child. American Legion

The next SAL All You Can Eat Breakfast is Sunday, Feb. 7, from 8-11 a.m. at James E. Ryan Post 322, 1477 Ohio 503 South.

A Valentine dance featuring the Flat Out Band will be held Saturday, Feb. 13, from 8 p.m.-midnight. There is a 50/50 raffle and cost is $10 at the door. Come enjoy a night of dancing and romancing!

Euchre night will be every Wednesday at 7 p.m. Every Wednesday Euchre night is Ladies Night! There is a $5 entry fee, prizes, a 50/50 raffle and it is open to the public.

Enjoy old-time country and western music every Thursday from 1-4 p.m. with the Senior Fun Bunch. This is open to the public and includes coffee and snacks with no cover charge.

Foodbank

Items needed are egg noodles, pancake syrup, ramen noodles, shampoo, and toothpaste. The Foodbank is open from 10 a.m. to noon on Mondays and Wednesdays and is located at St. John Church, 20 E. South Street. Contact the Foodbank at 839-1615 for additional information. Non-perishable donations can also be dropped off at Salem and St. John Lutheran Churches the first Sunday of each month.
