EATON — The Nutritional Benefits of Drinking Tea: Jonathan Carl with Crossroads Hospice and Palliative Care will be presenting on the history, nutritional benefits, growing, harvesting, and processing of tea. Check out this talk on Monday, March 23, at 10 a.m.

Foods for Nourishment: What are easy foods for seniors to eat in order to get the most out of it? Join us Monday, March 30 at 10 a.m. to find out. Gretchen Adams, RDN, LD from the YMCA of Greater Dayton will be at the senior activities center presenting.

Armchair Travel: Be taken to a faraway place without leaving your chair. Travel with us to Finland during armchair travel on Monday, March 16, at 10 a.m.

Thursday Night Weekly Dance: Theme for March 19, is St. Patrick’s Day, feel free to dress accordingly! The Thursday Night Dance, ‘Dance My Way,’ is held from 5-8 p.m. at The Grange at 501 Nation Avenue, Eaton. The Silvertones, a local band from Camden, Ohio will provide an enjoyable evening of classic rock & roll and country music for your listening and dancing pleasure. The dance features delicious food, with a $1 menu, a 50/50 drawing, and door prizes. Admission is $3 per individual/$5 per couple. Join us for a fun evening!

Art Lab: We will be making candles at our next art lab on Wednesday, March 18, at 11:30 a.m. Pre-registration is a must by calling 937-456-4947. Cost is $10 per candle, all materials and instruction is provided.

Miami Valley Gaming: They have over 1,900 gaming machines, including all your favorites and the latest titles too. This trip is Wednesday, Aug. 12, cost is $17 for members, and $32 for non-members.

National Veterans Memorial & Museum: This museum was created for a unique and specific purpose: to preserve, share, and celebrate the personal experiences of our nation’s Veterans past and present. Cost is $56 for members, and $71 for non-members, this trip is on Wednesday, Aug. 26.

Mystery Trip: Where we are heading was featured in a 1940 film. We will be heading to a place of motion, sound, and experiences with interactive exhibits, audio/ visual elements and music. From there we will travel to a music and event center for lunch buffet, local entertainment, history, and shopping. A guide will board the motor coach to narrate a tour. Tuesday, Sept. 1. Cost is $149 for members and $199 for non-members.

Ohio State House Tour & The Anthony Thomas Chocolate Company Factory Tour: The Ohio Capitol Square, a complex that includes the Ohio Statehouse, Senate Building and Atrium. The buildings are not only working government offices but a magnificent monument to the people and the period during which Ohio’s democracy was founded and formed. Walk along the comfortable, glass-enclosed suspended “Cat-Walk” and observe nine lines producing 30,000 pounds of chocolates per shift. Join us on this trip on Tuesday, Sept. 22. Cost is $45 for members and $60 for non-members.
