LEWISBURG — Hello Lewisburg!

If you don’t like the weather, hang around for 24 hours, it will change. Welcome to Lewisburg! Our weather, just like yours changes daily. Today, we might wear shorts and a light jacket but tomorrow, bring out the long underwear and the down feather coat. With all the changes, isn’t it great that we have cold but very little snow. Just as when we were teaching, we wake up to watching the school reports of delays and closings. When the schools close, we close and say “This is going to be a sleep-in day!” Being retired doesn’t change that mentality. Well, just a few more days until spring and we can all say, “It’s just too hot today!” We aren’t satisfied with anything.

In closing

Thank you to the person or persons who are helping to keep our sidewalks clear of snow. Thank you to the Lewisburg Village workers (we had the Village People) who helped us move our inventory to another site. Thank you to the Village Administration who has listened and answered our many questions about being in the big city. It is so much fun being part of the center of business! There are no others like the ‘Burgers’ who keep this village alive. Remember: ‘There is spirit, there is grace; in this peaceful country place. Thank you Lewisburg! Share a thank you with someone that you know for a deed that they have forgotten about. Pass it on!
