Kiwanis Oktoberfest Cancelled

The Kiwanis Club of West Alexandria regrets to announce that the 2020 Kiwanis Oktoberfest, scheduled for Oct. 10-11, has been canceled. Although we would like the festival to go forward as planned, we felt it is more important to consider the possible health concerns for those who would be attending the festival.

In addition, Preble County is currently at Level 3 on the Public Health Advisory System for COVID-19, and the Health Department guidelines do not permit us to have the festival. This would have been the 53rd year for the event.

In addition to the festival, all contests, the Antique Car Covered Bridge Run, and the Scarecrow Scamper running event have been canceled.

The Kiwanis Club is now working hard on plans for next year’s Annual Kiwanis Oktoberfest to be held in Peace Park on Oct. 9-10, 2021. We hope to see everyone at the festival next year.
