EATON — As part of Downtown Eaton, Inc.’s White Christmas celebration, area children in grades Pre-K through 5th were invited to enter this year’s Santa coloring contest for a chance to win a gift card in one of three age categories: Pre-K-1st grade; 2nd-3rd grade and 4th-5th grade.
On Thursday, Dec. 16, DEI President Scott Davidson presented this year’s winning artists their awards.
The winner in the Pre-K-1st grade age category was Carlee Watson. The 2nd-3rd grade winner was Esther Craft. Xavier Raisor won the 4th-5th grade age category.
Approximately 30 young artists entered this year’s contest.
DEI congratulates all this year’s winners and looks forward to the 2022 contest entries.
