EATON — On Tuesday April 12, the Preble County Historical Society hosted its 2nd annual Falcon Show at The Amphitheater.

This year, the attendance doubled, according to organizers. The Mid-West Falconry Group comes from Washington Courthouse to present their program on conservation for the birds.

They educated those in attendance on the different species of falcons, owls and hawks, showing some of the rarest and largest in their species.

“It is so incredible to work with these folks each year. They are busy working at the Renaissance Festival in Waynesville each year in the fall, so it’s great to have them out here in the spring,” PCHS Executive Director Lisa White said. “We had great weather, great food and amazing guests. The support from the community means so much to us. We have to say a huge thank you to Wings Etc. in Eaton for sponsoring this education program.”
