EATON — The 16th annual Preble County United Way Golf Outing was held Friday, June 10, at the Eaton Country Club. The benefit outing was a success, according to Director Claudia Hurst.

The four-person team scramble was held in two rounds, with a morning and afternoon flight. The day included lunch, raffles, and friendly competition, all to support the UWGDA Preble County Scholarship Fund.

“It was a great day, a great turnout and there were lots of great raffle prizes and fun,” Hurst said.

Frye Mechanical was the Premier Event Sponsor of the event. According to Hurst, the event raised over $6,000 to benefit the scholarship fund.

The morning round winner was Hometown Comfort and the afternoon round winner was Heeter Insurance.

Heeter Insurance was overall winner of the day.
