BOE closed

EATON — The Preble County Board of Elections will be closed on Thursday, Jan. 12, due to a conference in Columbus. The office will reopen for business on Friday, Jan. 13, at 8 a.m.

PCVPOD Board meeting

EATON — The Preble County Volunteer Peace Officer’s Dependents Board will meet on Jan. 24, at 10 a.m., at Eaton Fire Station No. 2, 397 W. Lexington Rd.

LHS cabbage roll sale

LEWISBURG — The Lewisburg Historical Society is planning their 2nd annual cabbage roll sale. The proceeds from this fundraiser will go towards phase three of the new storage facility used to store items from Lewisburg’s past. Orders need to be received by Jan. 27, and will be ready for pickup Thursday, Feb. 2, between 1:30-7 p.m. at the Tri-County North Community Center, 261 E. Clay St., Lewisburg. OPRD teen programming

OXFORD — Oxford Parks and Recreation (OPRD) has two teen programs planned for grades 6-12 for both residents and non-residents. A Valley’s Edge Snow Tubing trip is planned for Monday, Jan. 16, from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Participants must register online or in person by Jan. 9. The fee is $28 for residents and $31 for non-residents. Transportation will be provided. A Lazer Kraze trip is planned for Thursday, Feb. 16, from 5-9 p.m. Participants must register online or in person by Feb. 11. The fee is $28 for residents and $31 for non-residents. Transportation will be provided.

Preble Shawnee BOE meeting

CAMDEN — The Preble Shawnee Board of Education’s January organization meeting is scheduled on Thursday, Jan. 5, at 6 p.m. The regular January monthly meeting will follow the organization meeting. The meeting will be held at the Preble Shawnee Board of Education Offices, 124 Bloomfield Street, Camden. During the regular meeting’s public participation segment, the board will have a public hearing on the 2017-18 school calendar.

CCLS BOE meeting

COLLEGE CORNER — The College Corner Local Board of Education will hold its organization meeting on Jan. 9, at 6 p.m. in the board of education meeting room at the College Corner Union School, 230 Ramsey Street in College Corner, Ohio. The regular meeting of the board of education will follow.

ECS BOE meeting

EATON — The organizational meeting of the Eaton Community Schools Board of Education is scheduled for Monday, Jan. 9, at 6 p.m. The meeting will be held at Hollingsworth-East Elementary School, 506 Aukerman St. Immediately following adjournment of the organizational meeting, the January regular meeting will begin.

National Trail BOE meeting

NEW PARIS — The National Trail Board of Education will meet Monday, Jan. 9, at 5:30 p.m., at the NT District Office Conference Room, located at 6940 Oxford-Gettysburg Road, New Paris, for the purpose of organization and any other business which may be considered necessary. The January regular board meeting will be held immediately following the organizational meeting.

TCN BOE meeting

LEWISBURG — The Tri-County North Board of Education will hold the 2017 organizational meeting at 6 p.m., on Wednesday, Jan. 11, in the District Office Board Room.

PCESC Board meeting

EATON — The organizational meeting of the Preble County Educational Service Center Governing Board will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 25, at 5:30 p.m. at the Preble County Educational Service Center, Conference Room, 597 Hillcrest Drive, Eaton. The January regular meeting of the Preble County Educational Service Center Governing Board will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 25, immediately following the organizational meeting.

GM/Delphi retirees
