Dylan’s Penny Walk Scholarship awarded

EATON — Braden Moles, son of Deanna and Jason Moles, was awarded the Dylan’s Penny Walk Scholarship on Friday, May 19, at the Eaton High School awards assembly.

This scholarship in the amount of $10,000 will be applied to Braden’s education at The Ohio State University in the field of journalism with a goal of sports journalism.

The scholarship was presented to Moles, a senior at Eaton High School, by Dylan’s mother, Terri Smith-Roach after an introduction by Dylan’s cousin, Madison Potter, a senior at Saline High School, Michigan.

The money raised was through the Dylan’s Penny Walks in honor of Dylan Roach who passed away May 2012. Dylan would have been a member of the Eaton High School class of 2017.
