PREBLE COUNTY — Voters across Preble County will also see two state issues, and several local questions and issues on the ballot next Tuesday, Nov. 7.
Voters across Ohio are being asked to decide two state issues, Issue 1 regarding Crime Victims and Issue 2, the Ohio Prescription Drug issue. Local questions and issues include one countywide issue for Preble County Developmental Disabilities.
Local questions and issues to appear on ballots include:
•Preble County Developmental Disabilities, services to adults and children with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities, 1.9 mills, additional, five years.
•Village of College Corner, current operating expenses, 3.8 mills, renewal, five years.
•Village of College Corner, fire protection, 1.8 mills, renewal, five years.
•Village of Lewisburg, fire protection, 2.25 mills, renewal, five years.
•Village of Lewisburg, referendum, ordinance #2017-06, amend section 11.47.02, uses, of the Lewisburg Zoning Ordinance.
•Village of Verona, current operating expenses, 1 mill, renewal, five years.
•Village of Verona, fire and EMS, 1 mill, renewal, five years.
•Village of Verona, road improvement, 5 mills, reneal, five years.
•Harrison Township, cemetery operations, 0.5 mill, additional, five years.
•Jackson Township, fire protection and EMS, 2 mills, renewal, three years.
•Jefferson Township, excluding Village of New Paris, road and bridge, 1.2 mills, additional, five years.
