TVS students recognized for achievements

Nathan Osborn was recognized for his recent golf achievements during the Twin Valley Community School District’s recent board of education meeting. Osborn won seventh place at the OHSAA District III State Golf, Second Team All Ohio, CCC Player of the Year for the third consecutive year, 2017 CCC League Champion, and 2017 District Golf Champion.

During the Twin Valley Community Local School District’s board of education meeting on Monday, Oct. 23, Ryan Bassler was recognized for receiving 35 out of 35 possible points on all seven High School End of Course exams Rilee Emig was also recognized for this achievement, but was not available to receive her certificate.

Audrey Chesney, Abigail Bingham, and Travis Lovely were recognized for receiving Advanced or Accelerated on their High School State End of Course exams. They were honored during the Twin Valley Community School District’s Monday, Oct. 23, board of education meeting. Hunter Bennett, Tommy Schleiger, and Jonathan Grigsby were also recognized for this achievement, but were unavailable to receive their certificates.

Nathan King and Elliana Hurst were recognized for receiving a perfect score on their 2016-2017 sixth Grade Math State Assessment.

The board also recognized the many Twin Valley South 2017 Preble County Pig Tale and Poetry Winners. Amelia Wharton was recognized for her poetry, Joslyn Beneke was recognized for Pig Tale, and Elliana Hurst was recognized for her poetry. TVS Poetry Winners also included Ellie Webb and Lynnlee Voge, but neither were available to receive their certificates. TVS Pig Tale Winners also included Lily Marker, Skyelur Weber and Claire Fogle, but they were not available to receive their certificates.
