Union County Extension Homemakers Bazaar set

LIBERTY, INDIANA — The annual Union County Extension Homemakers Bazaar which will be held on Saturday, Nov. 18, will take place in the Union County Middle School located at 488 East State Road 44, Liberty, Indiana, from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. The vendors participating will feature lots of creative hand-made items including holiday decorations, jewelry, baskets, wreaths, teddy bears, embellished clothing, wooden items, toys, delicious eatables, accessories, and many other items too numerous to mention.

Door prizes from the vendors will be provided throughout the entire day.

The Miami University Glee Club Ensemble will be performing at 10:30 a.m. during the bazaar. Additional live music will be performing for everyone’s enjoyment at other times during the event. Lunch will be served featuring the now famous homemade creamed chicken sandwiches, soups, sloppy joes and homemade pies. Steaming coffee and donuts will be ready for those arriving early.

Several vendors have stated that “this is their favorite event.” There is no charge for admission and the facilities are on one floor in one building which is handicap accessible. Free Shuttle Service from the Union County High School and 4-H Parking Lots will be provided by the Union County Transit Service from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. Food items for the local Community Food Pantry will be collected for those who wish to contribute. This is on a voluntary basis and will be much appreciated especially with the government cut in the Food Stamps Program.
