EATON — VFW Post 8066, located 401 W. Lexington Road in Eaton, will be hosting a free luncheon on Thursday, Dec. 7, in honor of Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day. The lunch will be held from noon until 4 p.m. at the Post. All veterans and families are welcome to come out for a free lunch buffet.

According to VFW Officer Jan Gant, they are hosting the lunch as a way to honor local veterans on this historic day.

“We want to honor the veterans of our country all the time,” he said. “We have daily specials that we have for the veterans, but we wanted to do something special since it is Pearl Harbor Day.”
