On Wednesday, Oct. 7, it was reported Job and Family Services requested $627,000 for child placement costs since August. While commissioners have added $627,000 more than the current levy brings in, commissioners had appropriated $300,000 of the $627,000 at the beginning of the year. JFS only requested an additional $327,000. The money is used for the placement of children in Preble County.
