Eaton FFA recognized for achievements

EATON — During the recent board meeting on Monday, May 14, Eaton Board of Education recognized the Eaton MVCTC FFA Chapter for recent accomplishments.

First the board recognized the chapter for its Gold Rating.

Trent Broermann was recognized for first place in Forage Crop Proficiency. Andrew Brooks was recognized for third place in Agricultural Sales Proficiency.

The Grain Merchandising Team was recognized for first place. That team includes: Katelyn Niehaus, Kendale Hamilton, Rebecca Wright, Trent Broermann, and Andrew Brooks.

The following Grain Merchandising Individuals were recognized: Katelyn Niehaus for first place, Rebecca Wright for eighth place, and Trent Broermann for 18th place.

Blake Whitesell was recognized for Gold Rated Treasurer book. Arica Hamilton was recognized for Gold Rated Reporter Book. Trent Broermann was recognized for Gold Rated Secretary book.

The Greenhand Quiz team was recognized for 10th place. That team included: Mallory Deaton, Kendal Hamilton, Ella Bruce, and Dawson Brubaker.

The Agricultural Issues team was recognized for fifth place. That team included: Katelyn Niehaus, Andrew Brooks, Mallory Deaton, Jacob McIntosh, Spencer Hunt, Dawson Brubaker, and Kendal Hamilton.

Finally, State FFA Degree recipients Andrew Brooks and Arica Hamilton were recognized.
