EATON — The Preble County Chamber of Commerce’s May Breakfast Briefing will focus on agribusiness — attendees will hear the Brubaker Grain story, hear about the recently created Preble Roots marketing program, and find out how farming and ag impact the economy in Preble County.

The Thursday, May 31, session is sponsored by Preble Roots, and will be held at The Bistro at Eagles Point, 102 E. Decatur St., Eaton, from 7:45-9:30 a.m. The session includes breakfast from The Bistro.

“From 7:45-8:15 a.m., we’ll have a time for some “speed promotion” so bring flyers and info about your business and what you have coming up,” PC Chamber Executive Director Leslie Collins said.

From 8:15-8:45 a.m., hear from Ryan Brubaker how family-owned and operated Brubaker Grain has grown to what it is today, and from 8:45-9 a.m., hear about the new Preble Roots program from PC Convention & Visitors Bureau President Stephanie Garrett.

Vonderhaar Farms’ Rachel Vonderhaar will close the session with information highlighting agriculture and its impact on the Preble County economy.

”This will be a session not to be missed,” Collins added.

RSVP to the chamber office at 937-456-4949, [email protected], or register online at www.preblecountyohio.com. The briefing is free to Preble County Chamber of Commerce members, $10 for non-members.
