PREBLE COUNTY — Preble County Sheriff’s Deputies continued at press time the search for a West Alexandria-area woman who was reported missing on Thursday, July 19.

Laura Patterson, 52, was reported to have left her residence on Woodside Drive last Thursday, between 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Patterson left the house walking and her whereabouts are unknown, according to officials. Investigators do not know what type of clothing she was wearing. It appears she took nothing with her when leaving, a media release noted.

Patterson works in the Monroe area, but her employer has not heard from her. She has been entered as an endangered missing adult due to medical issues.

Anyone who comes in contact with Patterson is asked to contact their local law enforcement agency immediately. Anyone who may have seen Patterson or spoken with her since last Thursday is asked to contact the Preble County Sheriff’s Office at 937-456-6262.
