LEWISBURG — Tour the Garber Farmhouse Saturday, Sept. 8, from 1-3 p.m. In conjunction with the Lewisburg Bicentennial Celebration, the Garber Farmhouse is opening its doors for self-guided tours.

The early 1900s house has been totally renovated to the time period and is full of antiques and artifacts which belonged to the Garber family, longtime residents of Preble County. Brenda Mezz, a member of the family, will be on hand to answer questions and do a presentation of postcards sent by family members giving a peek into their lives a hundred years ago.

Tours are $5 per person. There will also have a free program for children in the Pavilion. The house is located in the Garber Nature Center at 9691 Ohio 503 N, Lewisburg, about two miles north of U.S. 40.
