WEST ALEXANDRIA — Twin Valley Rod & Gun Club hosted its youth pheasant hunt on Saturday, Oct .20. This annual event is for youth 12-17 to enjoy a pheasant hunt.

This event was sponsored by Twin Valley Rod & Gun Club, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, the Ohio Division of Wildlife, the Wildlife Restoration Fund and local supporters, the Butler County Pheasants Forever, west Alexandria Lions Club, the Twin Creek Chapter Quality Deer Management, and Ulrich’s Hunting Preserve.

The purpose of the youth pheasant hunt is to instill in young hunters an enthusiasm and a respect for hunting, to promote and practice hunter safety, to re-enforce hunter ethics and to provide an upland bird hunting experience.

The hunt was held at Ulrich’s Hunting Preserve, 4964 Enterprise Road in West Alexandria.
