EATON — Join us for a Christmas Victorian Tea on Saturday, Dec. 1, at 2 p.m. at the senior activities center. Guest Speaker, Pam Barr will be speaking on the history of high tea. There will be a menu of assorted foods and your choice of teas. Please wear your favorite hat and bring your own tea cup. $20 members, $25 nonmembers. Call to reserve your spot, 937-456-4947.

Holiday Food Drive: We are accepting food and monetary donations for our annual food baskets. These baskets will be distributed December 20 to Preble County Seniors in need. Applications to receive a holiday food basket can be filled out at the senior activities center. Call to find out our list of non-perishable food items that we need, 937-456-4947.

Craft Bazaar: Come in and shop for holiday gifts! Saturday, Nov. 10, from 10 a.m-4 p.m. Decade’s Diner will be open from 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

Bingo: Join us for Bingo on Tuesday, Nov. 13, and Friday, Nov. 16, both at 2 p.m.

Joy Tour Travel Show: Joy Tour and Travel is a full-service travel agency as well as a tour operator. They will be here on Wednesday, Nov. 14 at 2 p.m. to talk about upcoming trips.

AARP Refresher Course: RESCHEDULED to Wednesday, Nov. 14, at The Grange. AARP will be providing a refresher course beginning at 9 a.m. Pre-registration a, by calling 937-456-4947. Cost is $15 for AARP Members, and $20 for Non AARP Members.

Dessert Auction: It’s that time of year again. Stop in, have fun, and bid on scrumptious desserts for your holiday celebration. Monies raised goes toward PCCOA Programs, join us Tuesday, Nov. 20 at 2 p.m.

The Garst Museum: The National Annie Oakley Center houses an extensive exhibit dedicated to the sharpshooter, Annie Oakly “Little Sure Shot.” Other exhibits focus on Native American History, the Treaty of Greeneville, and broadcast journalism pioneer and nearby Woodington native Lowell Thomas. Air Force Museum: The museum dates its origins back to 1923 when it opened to the public in an aircraft hangar at the edge of McCook Field near downtown Dayton. When McCook Field closed in 1927, the museum moved to the new Wright Field, and in 1935, it moved again to a new building constructed by the WPA. Cruise to Ireland, Iceland, & Scotland: On May 6-16, 2019 we will be travelling to Dublin, Ireland, Belfast, Northern Ireland, Reykjavik, Iceland, Akureyri, Iceland, and Lerwick Scotland with so much to see and do with Celebrity Cruises. Final payment is due Jan. 5, 2019.
