Back to the USO: A Living History Event planned

EATON — The Preble County Historical Society will present “Back to the USO: A Living History Event” on Friday, Dec. 14.

The event will run from 7-10 pm at the Preble County Historical Society. Cost is $35 per person.

Join us on December 14th for a living history event! We are recreating a USO event at PCHS. Step back in time and interact with soldiers from WWII. There will be food, drinks (cash bar), live music from Different Hats (1940s Jazz band), reenactors and a silent auction. Attire from the1940s is highly encouraged.

An award will be given for best 1940s costume.

The USO (United Service Organizations) was founded in 1941 to provide morale and recreation services to U.S. uniformed military personnel.
