American Legion Post 322

Euchre is open to the public every Wednesday at 7 p.m. $5 entry fee, 50/50 raffle and Ladies Night.

The Senior Fun Bunch meets every Thursday from 1-4 p.m.

Rock the Jukebox Friday, Dec. 21, from 7-11 p.m. includes a 50/50 raffle.

New Year’s Eve Open Jukebox is Dec. 31, beginning at 7 p.m. Bring an appetizer to share. There will be pork and sauerkraut at midnight, at James E. Ryan, Post 322, 1477 Ohio 503 S.

The Canteen will be closed on Dec. 25 and Jan. 1.

Venison for Food Banks

The Venison for Food Banks of Preble County program is ongoing. Anyone who takes a deer can donate all or part of the meat for the Foodbanks. We have sponsors who will take care of the processing fees. You may contact Brad Turner, Preble County Game Warden, or Curtis Early from Twin Valley Rod and Gun Club at 937-533-3226.

St. John Lutheran, Ingomar

Join us for our final midweek Advent service on December 19. A carry-in meal begins at 6:15 p.m., followed by the service at 7 p.m. Everyone is welcome!

All are invited to our Christmas Eve Candlelight and Carol service, featuring our church choir and other musicians. The service begins at 7 p.m. and ends with the beloved lighting of candles. Invite others to hear that the world has been changed forever through this gift we receive.

Salem Lutheran

Come, join us for our annual Christmas Eve Service, Dec. 24, including our evening of music, beginning with our Handbell Concert at 7 p.m., our Choir Cantata, and ending with a traditional, candlelight hymn.

Salem Kids will resume meeting on Wednesday, Jan. 9 with a meal at 6 p.m and program at 6:30 p.m.

The Women of the Church are collecting mittens, hats, sweat shirts/pants and socks of all sizes for the Adopt-a-Family outreach this holiday season. Any hats or mittens not used for Adopt-a-Family will be given to Twin Valley Schools where they are needed. A tree is located in the Fellowship Hall and another is located in the Library where these items can be placed.

Join us for our Christmas Eve Candle Light Service and Communion at 7 p.m. at 20 E. South Street.

Church of the Brethren

The next community meal will be Jan. 9 at the Church of the Brethren, 22 East Oak St., 5-6:30 p.m.
