PS FFA presents board report

CAMDEN — Preble Shawnee FFA students Jacob Doty and Megan Roell reported on recent FFA activities during the PS Board of Education meeting on Thursday, Feb. 13.

The chapter president and vice-president reported:

•The club hosted its annual fruit sale and had extra fruit left over, which it donated to a food bank in Camden. It donated over 550 pounds of fruit. The student body of the high school also collected more than 600 canned goods which were also donated.

•In January, 15 of the chapter’s members traveled to Eaton High School where the Ohio Leadership Night was hosted.

•The Chapter’s Reporter’s Book, Treasurer’s Book, and Secretary’s Book were recently awarded Gold Ratings at State Evaluations. Four State Degrees, four American Degrees, and five Proficiency Awards also passed evaluation.
