EATON — Thursday Night Weekly Dance: The third Thursday of each month is a color theme, Thursday, March 21, the color theme is green. Coincidently, our sponsor is Greenbriar. The Thursday Night Dance, ‘Dance My Way,’ is held from 5-8 p.m. at The Grange at 501 Nation Avenue, Eaton.

The Silvertones, a local band from Camden, Ohio will provide an enjoyable evening of classic rock & roll and country music for your listening and dancing pleasure. The dance features delicious food, with a $1 menu, a 50/50 drawing, and door prizes. Admission is $3 per individual/$5 per couple. Join us for a fun evening!

Silver Sneakers at the Senior Activities Center presented by the Preble County YMCA. Everything you need is provided for, plus instruction. Pre-registration is a must by calling 937-456-4947. Class is free and takes place every Tuesday at 12:30 p.m.

Tai Chi: We have a great new instructor, Cindy Schneider, Occupational Therapist, teaching Tai Chi with a Qi-Qong warm up. Tai Chi incorporates moves to facilitate balance, coordination, strength, endurance and memory. Classes are on Mondays from 12:00-1:00pm at the senior center. Pre-registration is a must, space is limited, cost is $5 members, $15 non-members. 937-456-4947

Beginners Dance Lessons: Beginners Dance Lessons on Mondays from 5-6 p.m. at The Grange. $5 per person, taught by Brian Short.

Line Dancing Lessons: Learn how to line dance, Tuesdays from 6-7 p.m. at The Grange, $3 per person.

Clogging Lessons: Learn how to clog on Tuesdays from 7-8 p.m. at The Grange, $3 per person.

Tech Support: Eaton Computer will be here the last Friday of each month teaching seniors about their technology. The topic for Friday, March 22, ‘Which tablet should you buy?’ Call to pre-register. Class begins at 10:00 at the Senior Activities Center.

Soaring Eagles Casino: Let’s take a trip to Mount Pleasant, Michigan, Oct. 1 -3, to Soaring Eagle Casino Resort! Enjoy a variety of food options prepared by world-class chefs, bustle in town, or tootle around the casino and resort playing, relaxing and unwinding. Costs vary from $344 to $599 call for more details.

Sumner County, Tennessee: Down home on the farm for four days and three nights, Sept. 24- 27. There is plenty to do and see on this trip, such as the Johnny Cash film presentation, visiting Long Hollow Gardens and other tours like Ronnie McDowell’s Strawberry Manor, wine tasting and so much more. Costs are $609 per member and $659 per non-member.
