EATON —Preble County Auditor Lavon Wright recently released the Preble County budgetary report for the month of October.

Wright noted:

Revenues reported by Wright totaled $783,717.96 which was 25.78 percent more than expected for the month.

Revenues include $456, 649.01 from August sales tax revenue, local government fund was $34,143.80, charges for service were $75,111.89, interest totaled $19,412.99, fines and forfeitures totaled $2,779.81 and other receipts totaled $73,760.66.

Expenditures for the month of October totaled$753,326.48 which was 15% below the estimate for the month.

Disbursements included $404,298.28 for Salaries, P.E.R.S. and Medicare and $74,871.45 for Health Insurance Premiums.

Transfers for the month included $119,000 for Children Services, #14,750 for Job and Family Services.

Department expenditures totaled $139,406.25 and included costs for supplies, charges for services, gas and travel expenses.

The general fund started 2015 with a balance of $3,720,415.66 and ended the month of October with a balance of $4,264,141.67.
