EATON — Breakfast Bingo: The first Friday of every month at The Grange, April 5 at 9 a.m.. Join in on the fun of playing bingo and having breakfast together. Breakfast begins at 9 a.m., with a cost of $3 for members, $5 for non-members. Pre-registration is recommended, by calling 937-456-4947. Sponsored by Maple Gardens Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

Poetry & Stories: Author Welby Cox will be speaking with us about “How to write and publish a book.” He has published 14 best sellers and a screenplay. He will be reading some of his original poems from his books on poetry. In addition to writing, he does all the art work for his book jackets. This is a great opportunity to learn how to preserve your life story for future generations. April 1 at 2 p.m.

Tax Prep Services: An AARP, IRS Certified, Tax Preparer will be at the senior activities center to offer FREE tax preparation. You must call to make an appointment at 937-456-4947, no walk-ins.

Dessert Auction: Yummy, beautiful, Easter desserts being auctioned off just in time for Easter Weekend! This fun-filled event is happening, on Thursday, April 18 at 1 p.m. Thanks to Lawn Plus for sponsoring.

San Antonio, Texas Presentation: Jake of Collette will be here on Wednesday, May 8, at 11 a.m. to speak with us about Christmas in San Antonio. A trip to the enchanting River Walk, the legendary Alamo, and the “Texas White House”. Date of the trip is Dec. 1-5.

Old Mason Winery: Old Mason Winery & Vineyard has been in business since April 2013. They are a family owned and operated winery. They wanted to bring a winery to the community because of their love of visiting wineries and trails. Their passion for wine began as a bobby that has since grown and over time resulted in this winery. This trip takes place Tuesday, June 4. Call for more details and to reserve your spot.

Goodwill & Warm Glow: Visit Richmond Goodwill’s new location, then lunch at Carver’s Restaurant. After lunch we will head to Warm Glow to shop for seasonal décor, wine, candles and Hershey ice Cream. This Mini Trip is on Tuesday, July 9, call for details and to reserve your spot!
